Singing, Dancing & Acting Classes

Every student participates in all three performing arts disciplines - singing, dancing and acting classes - helping to develop confidence, physical awareness, communication and articulation - as well as being educational and lots of fun!

Why Stagecoach Performing Arts ?

Teaching Team

It is a strict policy of the school to engage only experienced teaching team, many of whom are professionals. All members of the team are screened through the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) for their suitability to work with children. Stagecoach is also dedicated to developing its teaching team through CPD training and in-service teaching courses.

Child Safeguarding

The safety and well-being of children come first. Stagecoach has robust measures and policies in place, supported by the experts in the field. Every member of our school is fully vetted and trained to ensure children learn in a safe, positive and supportive environment.

Class environment

Stagecoach classes provide a fun and creative space, but we also encourage self-discipline, reliability and teamwork. There are no auditions and our lessons follow a set structure to help children develop a regular routine. Students are encouraged to explore their creativity and we aim to create a positive, welcoming environment where every child thrives. Our student code of conduct ensures Stagecoach schools uphold our shared values of respect, politeness and kindness.

Inspections

To maintain the highest standards, every Stagecoach school is inspected annually by independent assessors. This ensures families can trust that all schools deliver a consistent, high-quality experience.

Reports

Parents receive regular updates on their child’s progress, including feedback from teachers and the Principal.

Awards and Recognition

We celebrate effort and perseverance above all else. Long service awards, annual recognition for exceptional progress, and medals for commitment are given to students who demonstrate dedication and growth.

Examinations

Stagecoach uses the Educational Framework to guide student learning and progression. While Stagecoach does not follow a strict syllabus, our curriculum covers many recognised standards. In addition, many of our schools offer students external examinations such as Performance Arts Awards, Group Musical Theatre examinations or LAMDA Speech and Acting examinations. Please contact your local Principal to find out what is offered in your local area.

Uniform

The Stagecoach uniform helps students feel part of the team and creates a sense of belonging. The uniform is compulsory, and branded clothing and jazz shoes are available through each school, ensuring all students look and feel performance ready.
